I like your design alot, I have one crit for your display you should not post it one white because the white from your typography bleeds in the bg and I got confused at times were the design began and the ended. It is very clean, and well done, it has a strong summer in the layout. the pink and blue give it a his hers feel to it, I don't think I have a favorite color, I think summer I think green.

for me the Blue /w the green type works the best. the pink is a little too bright.

I dont like the shadowed text - destracting. the flowers have the flat look to them, why try to fake depth with faux projected shadows ?

edit: additionally the whimsical text on the right and left margins could have been more thought out as well, the "drop em here" doesnt really work for or against the rest of the peice.

edit again : The "inner shadows" you put on the headlined text works against the image. Makes it blurry and the viewer's eyes dont want to read it - Try a stroke instead of a shadow.

Interesting design you have here.
I only wish that your colours are brighter...at the moment the hue(s) looks subdued or cool like tinge you might see during sombre winter :)

I don't think this design is successful. Il explain why.

I don’t really know what happens, I think you said you used some flash so I don’t know if there’s some animation or what not. As for the design, I think the flowers are weak and flat. Being that they are toned down, basic etc. it makes it hard and confusing to look at. There is no richness to those flowers in anyway. A sugeestion, addeding more vibrant summer colors, your colors are washed out. If the flowers are vector based, maybe making them cleaner would help.

As for the typography used, it looks like it is suitable for baseball, not whatever you’re making here. The smaller type beneath it, I am wondering if that serves a purpose in flash, if not it shouldn't be there. The last, the drop shadow on the type, suggests depth to a flat canvas, playing off the flowers its confusing and disturbing to the visual eye. A sugeestion, i would take out the small cursive type in the background, remove the drop shadow, and use a different typrface. Something that dosent resemble north american baseball.

I thougt this was a good design, the shadow of the big text and the small blury text in the back gives it a depth that I think looks good and not distracting at all, the colors are nice and gives a calm feeling, I like the green/blue best, perhaps theres a bit to many flowers in the top left corner, and as SeeThrou said the bg could have been another color, but overall I think it gives a great feeling of summer +6/7

edit: and I don't know enything about baseball so I have no problem with the typography
